KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - Two people are dead after a crash late Thursday morning in northern Kosciusko County.

Police say it happened around 11:30 a.m. on State Road 15 just north of Waubee Road in Van Buren Township.

According to investigators, a Chevy Silverado and a Hyundai Accent crashed head on.

Police say the driver of the Silverado, 68-year-old Dale Wert of Goshen, was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai, 19-year-old Sarah Mischke of Milford, reportedly died at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County FACT Team.
