SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - AAA released its Thanksgiving travel forecast Thursday and suggests how you can get where you are going safely during the busy travel weekend.
They maintain that Tuesday, Wednesday and then Sunday will be the busiest days for travel.
The agency recommends people going to the airport to get there at least 2 hours before their flight.
AAA suggests people driving get their car checked for its battery, tires, and fluids before next week to be safe on the road.
“If you can leave Monday before Thanksgiving and maybe come back on Black Friday. You’re gonna alleviate some of that traffic and congestion that you might experience,” said Molly Hart an AAA spokeswoman.
