NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Tennessee State Parks officials announced that restaurants in seven state parks will be offering Thanksgiving meals to visitors.
The parks are hoping to encourage visitors to book overnight stays at lodges, cabins and campgrounds and make the trip a weekend getaway.
Officials said Thanksgiving meals at Montgomery Bell State Park and Henry Horton State Park are sold out, but people are still invited to join the waitlist for those locations.
Multiple parks will also offer free guided hikes on Friday, Nov. 28.
