The Northeast 8 Athletic Conference is looking to fill a vacancy and accepting applications from qualified schools.

Per Commissioner Rob Conklin, schools competing in Ohio Football Divisions IV-VI are invited to apply by submitting a formal letter of interest to robconklin14@gmail.com.

The league currently consists of Girard, Hubbard, Lakeview, Niles, Poland, South Range & Struthers.

Conklin says the conference will evaluate factors including enrollment, sports, travel and other considerations to ensure alignment with its current members.

Letter of interest are due by February 1, 2026.
