ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Here are my five thoughts on the Buffalo Bills’ game against the Houston Texans Thursday night at NRG Stadium:
1. Josh Allen had mixed feelings about his AFC Offensive Player of the Week performance against Tampa Bay on Sunday .
“I didn’t play too well,” the quarterback told reporters earlier this week.
Knowing that he generated six touchdowns in a victory makes it hard to agree with that assessment. But it’s fair to say that there were some, to borrow Allen’s term, “boneheaded” throws, particularly the two that were intercepted.
He pointed to more of his misfires, running through them like a laundry list. “There were just too many throws that I feel like I don’t miss, and there’s really no excuse for that,” Allen said.
