BUFFALO, N.Y. — With Thanksgiving a week away, 2 On Your Side is tracking the cost of this year's traditional Thanksgiving dinner. And for the third straight year, it will cost you less overall, but there are some items that will cost you more.
The American Farm Bureau Federation has tracked Thanksgiving dinner prices since 1986, and this year found a dinner for ten will cost on average $55.18. That's down five-percent from last year.
One reason for lower prices this year is your turkey.

"The good news in Western New York and Canada is that protein prices are down. Vegetable prices are down," said Burt Flickinger III, Strategic Resource Group Managing Director.
