TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The list of high school football programs that’ll have new head coaches next fall continues to grow, as Brookwood is the latest program to add their name. After leading the program to a one and nine mark this fall, Daryl Jones is out after just one season.

Unlike other programs, the Warriors already have a new head coach lined up, as Jason Hurst, a Brookwood alum, has been promoted to head coach.

Hurst, a self-described “lifer” at Brookwood, having attended from kindergarten through 12th grade, is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame at the school. During his time as a student, he was a three-sport athlete for the Warriors.
