SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - An airman at Shaw Air Force Base is among three people who were killed after a crash in Sumter County, according to Sumter County Coroner Robbie Baker.
Baker said the airman, 20-year-old Gabriel Hansen, died along with 33-year-old Sebastian Arnett and 35-year-old Thomas Arnett in the crash early Thursday.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the wreck happened just after midnight in the area of Broad Street and Copley Drive.
According to the agency, a 2021 Subaru sedan heading east on Broad Street collided with a 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer heading north on Copley Drive.
The driver of the Subaru and both people inside the Chevrolet died as a result of the crash, troopers said.
