This week are Oregon’s high school football semifinals.

Ahead of Friday’s games, we wanted to take a look at the Class 5A teams taking the field.

No. 13 Churchill (8-3) vs. No. 1 Summit (11-0)

7 p.m. Friday, Willamette University, Salem

Last meeting: Churchill won 28-6 in Week 2 of the 2009 season.

About Churchill: The Lancers already have made history by surpassing Central (No. 11 in 2016) as the lowest 5A seed to reach the semifinals, with only Cascade (15-seed in 4A) and Tigard (14-seed in 6A), both in 2016, as lower seeds to get to this round.
