A decision on whether the man accused of second-degree murder in the death of Tanya Myers will be released on bail has been reserved.
The show cause hearing for Chris Fahlman, 42, concluded Thursday afternoon at the Court of King's Bench in Weyburn.
After hearing evidence and final arguments from both the Crown and defense, Justice Michael Morris reserved his decision. This means a ruling was not issued immediately. Instead, the judge will take time to review the submissions before delivering a written decision, which will be communicated to counsel at a later date.
Fahlman appeared in person for the second day of the hearing, dressed in a dark blue shirt and jeans. He showed little emotion throughout the proceedings, occasionally looking down while seated in the prisoner's dock.
