GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Green Bay is taking the next steps in its plan to revitalize Broadway, moving closer to building a new fire station and adding affordable housing to the corridor.

City leaders say it’s a key part of improving response times and meeting the growing demand for places people can afford.

“I think it’ll be a good thing, and I just hope that we keep building up this area, getting it nice and keeping it updated and nice for everybody,” says Wendy Sellers.

Wendy Sellers has lived in Green Bay most of her life and says she’s excited about a new fire station and affordable housing units coming to the area.
