INDIANAPOLIS — Governor Mike Braun says he'd support a change of leadership in the Indiana State Senate.
This comes after the Senate voted on Tuesday in favor of not coming back into the Statehouse until Jan. 5, weeks after the deadline for having a special session on redistricting .
Thursday, Braun said he believed Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray (R-District 37) was trying to slow walk the issue of redistricting or shut it down.
It was just Tuesday morning when the governor, Bray and House Speaker Todd Huston (R-District 37) sat together at an event in the Statehouse.
But just days after the Senate voted to not reconvene for a special session on redistricting, Braun said he'd support Bray being replaced as its leader.
"I'm getting to that point," Braun told reporters.
