AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - With Thanksgiving one week away, families across the CSRA are comparing grocery prices as they prepare for holiday meals while managing ongoing impacts from the government shutdown.

News 12 reporter Kalei Nash visited three local grocery stores — Kroger, Publix, and Aldi — to compare prices on the same holiday essentials and determine where shoppers can stretch their dollars furthest.
