The Los Angeles Football Club’s current Major League Soccer season will conclude at some point during the next three weeks pending playoff results, but the upcoming 2026 campaign is already making news.
On Thursday, MLS revealed next year’s 34-game regular season schedule, and LAFC has a prominent spot on opening day, when the Black & Gold host Lionel Messi and Inter Miami CF on Feb. 21 at the 77,500-seat Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Six of LAFC’s first nine home games take place in L.A.
The league will pause games from May 25 to July 16 for the FIFA World Cup set in Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.
LAFC has 15 games prior to the break. None feature the rival L.A. Galaxy.
