CLEMSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Clemson Police Department reports a man was charged in connection with a road rage incident on Wednesday.
Officers said they responded to calls about a shooting near the intersection of Anderson Highway and Old Stone Church Road around 11:46 a.m.
The victim said he was cut off by a gray sedan while traveling northbound on Anderson Highway. They honked their horn, and the sedan’s driver pulled into the median and stopped. The victim then traveled up to the traffic light at Old Stone Church Road when they heard loud bangs and saw bullet holes in the windshield, according to police.
Officers report the suspect’s vehicle then drove past the victim and fled the scene heading south on Pendleton Road.
The victim was not harmed and briefly chased the suspect
