DYERSVILLE, Iowa —
A blockbuster summer is on deck at the Field of Dreams Complex in 2026, promising big-league baseball, star-studded concerts and a surge of visitors to Dyersville.
Headlining the lineup is a Major League Baseball showdown between the Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies, paired with a minor league matchup featuring the Iowa Cubs and St. Paul Saints.
Work to complete the professional ballpark is slated to wrap by mid-June, according to the site’s owners.
Downtown businesses say the surge in visitors will ripple through the local economy.
“The real tourists are here — not just for baseball, not just for the concert,” said Heidi Huisman, a downtown Dyersville small-business owner for more than a decade. “They will come out and shop and [visit] our restaurant
