JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A suspect is in custody following the murder of a woman in Mandarin, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Randy Campbell, 31, was arrested on Nov. 18, three days after the death of 24-year-old Cherrish Nunley .
JSO says on Saturday, Nov. 15, Nunley was found shot to death in the parking lot of Chuze Fitness, near the intersection of San Jose Boulevard and Sunbeam Road.
With the help of the U.S. Marshal Task Force, JSO says investigators were able to track Campbell to Dallas, Texas, where he was arrested by local police.
"Campbell will be extradited back to Jacksonville once the appropriate legal process is complete," JSO said in the announcement of his arrest.
