ANN ARBOR – A week before he was set to begin his first season as the boys basketball coach at Ann Arbor Greenhills, Waleed Samaha parted ways with the school.
The former Huron basketball coach told MLive/The Ann Arbor News Thursday evening he and the school could not agree on his vision for the program and thus agreed to the separation.
“Over the past two years, I have dedicated my time to consulting with high school and college programs, mentoring coaches, and training elite athletes,” Samaha said. “I brought this same level of experience, commitment and vision to Greenhills, but unfortunately, our philosophies did not align.”
