White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Thursday President Donald Trump was just being “honest” when he called a female reporter “piggy” last week.

In a moment that went viral on social media, Trump lashed out at the female reporter asking him questions about the late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein on Friday. He told the reporter, “Quiet! Quiet, piggy!” when she attempted to ask a follow-up to her initial question.

A reporter asked Leavitt on Thursday to explain what Trump meant by calling the journalist, “piggy.”
