Sharing photos and videos with friends and family is finally getting easier, even when people are using different types of phones. Until now, sending files between an iPhone and an Android device often meant relying on extra apps or cloud storage. That could feel slow and frustrating when all you wanted was to quickly send a picture to someone standing right next to you. Google is changing this with a new update that lets its Quick Share feature work together with Apple’s AirDrop.

To use this feature, you need an Apple device and an Android phone from the Pixel 10 series. The supported models are Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google plans to improve the experience and later expand it to more Android devices
