Chatham’s Ethan Jordan is the Hec Crighton Trophy winner as the most outstanding player in U Sports football.
The Laurier Golden Hawks receiver was honoured at the annual Vanier Cup awards gala Thursday in Regina.
“I am incredibly honoured to have received the Hec Crighton award,” he said in a statement. “I accept this award not only for myself, but on behalf of the whole Laurier football family.
“From the fans that have shown an immense amount of support over my last five years, to my coaches and my teammates that have pushed me every day to become a better player and, more importantly, a better man, I accept this award with the utmost gratitude and honour.”
