ALMONT – Sometimes success really does breed success.

That is the case with Almont’s football team.

Not known as a prep football powerhouse two decades ago, the Raiders have really made a name for themselves in recent years and have earned the respect of the opposition.

“I think it really is a case of success does kind of breed success. If you win, kids want to be a part of the program and they want to win,” said Almont coach James Leusby, whose team has outscored the opposition 463-212 this season and have captured the Blue Water Area Conference, district and regional titles this season.
