MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Drought conditions across New Hampshire have improved.
The state is no longer in extreme drought, with more than 22% of the state officially out of drought.
The latest U.S. Drought Monitor report shows that Grafton, Carroll, and Coos counties have moved from extreme drought to severe drought. Parts of Belknap and Strafford counties also now fall under severe drought conditions.
Rockingham and Merrimack counties are experiencing moderate drought, while Hillsborough and Cheshire counties remain abnormally dry, though not officially in drought.
