A day after a 42-year-old real estate agent was shot at by three unidentified assailants in Kandivali (West), the Mumbai police Thursday arrested a man for his alleged involvement in the conspiracy to attack him.

The police said the arrested accused, identified as Munna Mayuddin Shaikh alias Guddu, 35, works as a manager in a bar and restaurant. Shaikh was produced in the court, which remanded him in police custody till November 27.

Meanwhile, the three shooters are still at large, and the Charkop police said several teams of the Crime Branch and local police are searching for them.
