Brandonites will have a chance to listen to the former manager of the Prince Edward Hotel share his memories this afternoon at “Tea With Tony.”
The Brandon General Museum and Archives is hosting an event to remember the historic hotel from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Matthews Anglican Cathedral.
Tony Griffin, who was a manager of the hotel from 1961-71, will share his experiences and a screening of “Tales From The Eddy,” a documentary on the hotel’s history, will be played.
Memorabilia from both Griffin’s personal collection and the museum will be on display for guests to view.
Tickets are $20. Beverages and dainties will also be available.
