LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A decision has been made for the future of Hall High School after weeks of uncertainty.

The board voted on Thursday to allow the school to apply for a conversion charter school for the next school year, in an effort to keep the school open after this year's declining enrollment.

A conversion charter school operates as a district-controlled school but offers greater flexibility for students to complete their education.

During the conversation, a question about the school's name came up. LRSD superintendent Jermall Wright says that’s one thing that isn’t changing.
