HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The City and County of Honolulu has selected its preferred negotiating partner for the redevelopment of the Iwilei Center.
On Thursday, the city announced it selected EAH Housing to redevelop the nearly four-acre public parcel, located adjacent to the future Kuwili Skyline Station.
It’s part of the city’s ongoing master planning for the Kuwili and Niuhelewai station areas, a coordinated, multimillion-dollar effort aligning land use, infrastructure upgrades, transportation systems, and public realm improvements.
The city said the project will feature retail space, new and affordable workforce housing, community amenities, and transit-connected public spaces.
