CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KCRG) - Cedar Rapids Xavier are state champions again with a 31-6 victory over Pella in 4A.

Carter Hoffman led the way for the Saints with 207 yards rushing and three touchdowns.

“Just felt amazing. I mean, I just wanted to leave everything out there for my senior year, so I’m just very happy,” said Hoffman.

Through the air, Cash Parks put together 143 yards and a touchdown.

“I just realized that all of it was worth it. All those early mornings, late nights with the team, all the blood sweat and tears that we shed during the season and the offseason. Just made it all worth it,” said Parks.

That’s good for Xavier’s fifth state championship.
