After hosting footballer Cristiano Ronaldo for a state dinner, US President Donald Trump shared an AI-generated video of himself playing football with the Portuguese star inside the White House, calling the athlete a “great guy".

The clip, posted on Donald Trump’s official Instagram account, shows the US President performing keep-ups, headers and brief dribbles alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in a digitally created version of the Oval Office. Donald Trump is seen spinning on his heels to intercept the ball before kicking it toward the camera, as Ronaldo passes it back and forth.

“Ronaldo is a GREAT GUY. Loved meeting him at the White House. Really smart, and cool!!! President DJT," he wrote in the caption.
