INDIANAPOLIS — If taking part in this year's historic IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon is in your plan, organizers say you have an added incentive to get registered soon.

If you register for the Mini or any Challenge event by Dec. 5, you can score a free beanie!

This year marks a historic milestone for Mini-Marathon. It's the 50th running of the event, which is set for May 2, 2026.

You're encouraged to register today. The free beanie deal offer is good through Dec. 5 or while supplies last.

Registration is now open for the 2026 edition of the 500 Festival Miler Series.

The series, which is held at Fowling Warehouse Indianapolis, features three different races to help runners train for the IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon.

The 3-Miler will be held Feb. 14, the 6-Miler March 7
