Jaimie Alexander is opening up about her sobriety and the near death experience that started it.

The 41-year-old Thor: Love and Thunder actress shared in a new Substack post that she realized she had a drinking problem while on a trip with a romantic partner shortly before her appendix burst.

In her post , Jaimie shared how she and this guy she was in a “relatively new relationship” with went to go look at some properties outside of NYC and they got snowed in.

One thing she said was not in the Airbnb they rented was alcohol, and she was panicking about how she was going to survive the night without a drink, having not had a single sober day in years prior. Also, this guy was completely sober.
