Pune, November 21, 2025: Nearly 90% of the 17 km water pipeline from the Vadgaon Water Treatment Plant has been completed. Water Supply Chief Engineer Nandkishor Jagtap has expressed confidence that by resolving the remaining obstacles, water will start reaching the 24×7 water storage tanks in the Mohammadwadi area by the end of December.

The 24×7 water tanks in Mohammadwadi have already been constructed, but the pipeline from the water treatment plant has not yet been connected. Builders showcased these completed drinking water tanks and sold apartments, bungalows, and row houses to citizens. Today, those same residents are struggling due to the lack of water supply.
