Vehicle crash: Chagrin Road

The Valley Enforcement Group is investigating a two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 62-year-old Bainbridge Township woman at approximately 6 p.m. Nov. 6.

Bainbridge police and EMS arrived on the scene to find the woman entrapped in the wreckage and unresponsive.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

She had been traveling east when a westbound vehicle crossed the center line and struck her vehicle head-on.

The westbound vehicle was driven by a 55-year-old Bainbridge man.

Alcohol use is not suspected as a cause. Charges are pending the investigation.
