Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Thursday published its draft voter list for the upcoming civic elections, revealing that the city now has 35,51,469 registered voters.
The updated figures show a significant rise of nearly nine lakh voters compared to the 2017 polls, largely due to the addition of 34 merged villages into PMC limits.
Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram announced that the Sus–Baner–Pashan ward has emerged as the largest in the city with around 1.60 lakh voters, while Upper Indiranagar has the lowest count at 62,205 voters. Citizens can file objections to the draft rolls until November 27. However, the administration has clarified that mass or bulk objections will not be entertained. The civic elections are expected to take place in January 2026.
