Many former houses of worship on Pittsburgh’s South Side have been turned into condominiums.
While the developers, architects and condo owners have embraced the buildings’ past, they have also introduced modern amenities that the original builders could only have dreamed of in a neighborhood that is home to many historic buildings and a booming nighttime social scene.
Condos are now on the market at the former St. Casimir Catholic Church on Sarah Street near South 22nd Street, St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Pius Street and St. Adalbert's auditorium on South 15th Street.
