Former CIA officer and whistleblower John Kiriakou stoked a fresh controversy after he revealed how former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, tried to pressure him into apologising for saying something on the military powers of Delhi and Islamabad.

Kiriakou revealed that after the letter demanding an apology reached him from Pakistan, he shot back that he would use the letter as toilet paper to wipe his a**. And unsurprisingly, Kiriakou never heard from the Pakistanis again.

John Kiriakou, who spent 15 years with the CIA as an analyst and as chief of counterterrorism operations in Pakistan after the 9/11 terror attacks, had earlier, during the four-day India-Pakistan mini-war, said that India would easily defeat Pakistan in a conventional war.
