A former DWP employee with 42 years experience in dealing with State Pensions and benefits shares the simple way every older person, already receiving their State Pension or due to retire this year, can change how often they are paid. ‌

The main thing to be aware of is that the frequency can only be changed if the payments have already been set up to be made into a bank account. ‌
