New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) The Government has announced a significant secretary-level bureaucratic reshuffle, aiming to inject experienced officers into key ministries, including Petroleum, Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, and Agriculture.
This realignment is expected to bring deep sector knowledge and policy expertise to these ministries as they prepare for the next financial year and navigate critical regulatory landscapes.
Neeraj Mittal (IAS, 1992, TN cadre) is appointed Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, marking his return to the ministry where he previously worked on energy reforms.
Amit Agrawal (IAS, 1993, CG cadre) takes over as the new Telecom Secretary, bringing expertise in digital governance and experience as the head of UIDAI.
