BBC smash hit Riot Women has secured a second series.
The programme about a group of menopausal women who form a rock band - which was created by multi-BAFTA award-winning writer Sally Wainwright - debuted earlier this year on BBC One . It captivated both audiences and critics alike, with its opening episode attracting 5.4 million viewers over 28 days, and it's now been announced that it will be back for another instalment.
The upcoming series will reveal what happens next for the Riot Women after the shocking developments in the concluding episode of the first series, reports the Mirror .
