Odisha Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, approved 12 proposals across nine departments during its latest meeting on Friday.

The Cabinet approved the establishment of the Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission (OUSSSC). The commission will oversee recruitment for uniformed services, including police, forest, and excise departments. It will consist of one chairperson and two members. Officials said the commission will bring transparency and efficiency to the recruitment process.
