LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Lansing School District’s Superintendent Ben Shuldiner has officially signed his new contract with Seattle Public Schools, the district announced Friday morning.
His total compensation package is valued at $425,000, and he is set to begin his new role on February 1.
Under the three-year agreement, Shuldiner will earn a base salary of $365,000 annually, along with $60,000 in retirement benefits.
The contract extends through June 2028.
The Lansing School District’s Board of Education thanked Shuldiner for his leadership. The board said it will provide updates on interim leadership and the search for a new superintendent as information becomes available.
