AN international judge who was sanctioned by Donald Trump for approving arrest warrants for Israeli leaders has described how the punishment affects “every aspect of my daily life”.
Nicolas Guillou is one of nine International Criminal Court (ICC) judges placed under sanctions by the US for indicting Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant.
He said that the sanctions go “far beyond a simple ban from entering the United States” in an interview with Le Monde.
Guillou said: “These sanctions affect every aspect of my daily life. They prohibit any American person or entity, any individual or company, as well as their foreign subsidiaries, from providing me with services.
