BYU men’s basketball star Kennard Davis has been suspended after being arrested for marijuana possession and driving under the influence last week.

ESPN reported details about Davis’ arrest after reviewing a police report. The report stated that Davis was arrested following a drug-related offense.

BYU coach Kevin Young said after Saturday’s loss to UConn that the junior is suspended indefinitely after violating team rules.

Police performed "standard field sobriety tests" on Kennard Davis before arresting him, according to the police report ESPN obtained.

Per FOX13 in Salt Lake City, Davis was involved in a wreck last Thursday at approximately 11:45 a.m. He was arrested for suspected DUI after the incident.
