SRINAGAR : An Indian Air Force Tejas light combat aircraft crashed during a flying demonstration at the Dubai Air Show on Friday afternoon, sending up a plume of thick black smoke over Al Maktoum International Airport. The HAL-built single‑engine fighter went down at around 2:10 pm local time while performing an aerobatic manoeuvre, with the Indian Air Force later confirming that the pilot sustained fatal injuries and that a court of inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the accident.
