(Sioux Falls, SD) — Retailers across the state are reporting strong optimism heading into the holiday season. A recent survey by the South Dakota Retailers Association shows 93 percent expect fourth-quarter sales to meet or exceed their goals. Store owners say toys and gift items are performing particularly well. Customers are also doing their holiday shopping earlier than usual.
