The Mets had one of the most disappointing seasons despite a strong roster, and many are frustrated. Recently, MLB free agent pitcher Adam Ottavino unleashed fury on the team and Carlos Mendoza. Ottavino, who previously played for the Queens, was unhappy with the way things were handled in the 2025 season.

The pitcher called out Carlos Mendoza and the franchise for their terrible management of the bullpen. The Mets’ bullpen was severely hit with injuries as five pitchers were placed on the IL. Despite having an incredible start, the team saw its pitchers struggle one by one.
