Dolly Parton is thankful for the way she’s made a living.
The “Jolene” singer shared a heartfelt apology after she was unable to attend the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions on Nov. 17 — where she was inducted into their Hall of Fame for her theme park Dollywood — due to her recent health struggles .
“I sure wish I could be with you in person today,” Parton said in a thank you video posted to Dollywood’s Instagram on Nov. 19, “but you probably heard that I been dealing with a few health challenges this fall and my doctors told me to take it easy for just a little while.”
The Grammy winner — who was also unable to attend the 2025 Governors Awards in person on Nov. 16 to accept the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian
