HOUSTON - Dion Dawkins owned it. The left tackle’s false start penalty with 24 seconds remaining Thursday night could not have come at a worse time because that dumb mistake quite possibly cost the Buffalo Bills a chance to pull off what would have been an incredible victory.
“I’ve got to be better, for sure,” Dawkins said following the 23-19 loss to the Houston Texans . “It happens time after time. It’s hard. It’s hard to play offensive line. It’s hard to be at your best at all times. Stadiums, like this, it’s loud. There’s no excuse. I pride myself on being the best.”
