The first of two storm system is set to bring damp weather to Maryland this evening through early Saturday. A second system will impact Maryland in the days leading up to Thanksgiving.

Rainy weather in Maryland Friday evening

Scattered showers will move in from western Maryland after 6 p.m. Rain becomes widespread and steady after 9 p.m. across the western metro and 10 p.m. in Baltimore City.

We are not looking at a substantial amount of rain. Rainfall totals will range from 0.20" to 0.40" for most of our area. This is beneficial rain, but it certainly won't erase the ongoing drought. Bring a jacket and umbrella if you have outdoor plans this evening.
