A major new report has found a common habit could be quietly undermining canine wellbeing. A survey of 5,000 owners across the UK found the nation’ is committed to dog welfare is extremely strong, but ione behaviour is affecting pets more than we realise.
The findings come as Dogs Trust publishes its Happy Place Index , a detailed look at the habits and routines that contribute to canine happiness. Mark Rowlands – Professor of Philosophy at the University of Miami – has developed a new formula, the Canine Happiness Score (CHS), which assesses how 'happy' a dog is.
